US-based SaaS company CurbWaste has raised a US $28 million Series B funding round, bringing its total capital raised to approximately US $50 million.
The round was led by Socium Ventures (backed by Cox Enterprises) and included participation from Flourish Ventures, TTV Capital, B Capital Group and SquarePoint Capital.
CurbWaste provides an operating-system-style platform for independent waste-hauling businesses across the United States, offering tools for order management, inventory tracking, automated invoicing, route-management, dispatching and more.
The company currently serves roughly 150 haulers across about 40 states, supporting operations ranging from 5- to 200-vehicle fleets.
With the new funding, CurbWaste plans to deepen its artificial-intelligence capabilities and enhance business-intelligence features so that its customers gain greater insight into their internal data and operations.
The platform operates on a subscription model: smaller hauler customers typically pay an initiation fee plus a monthly charge in the US $250–300 range per driver, with custom pricing for larger operations. The company reports it can boost cash-flow by 10–20 % for customers through its automated payments and workflow tools.
