Illinois’s $6M Smart Traffic Upgrade

In Illinois, the Department of Transportation’s Districts 2, 3, 4, and 5, as well as the Lake County Division of Transportation have signed contracts with Iteris for the company’s smart mobility infrastructure management platform. With the contracts, valued at approximately $6M, the authorities aim to enhance traffic signal coordination and timing to improve safety, mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and increase sustainability.
