Tuscany Water Plans Upgrade with Publiacqua and Xylem

Italy has been busy with water, Tuscany’s Publiacqua utility has signed a three-year contract with water technology company Xylem to enhance the resilience and efficiency of the Medio Valdarno region’s water infrastructureWith the use of meter data analytics, real-time leak detection, and predictive maintenance tools, the partnership aims to proactively address water demands and environmental challenges, such as drought with the help of Xylem Vue platform, powered by GoAigua. This initiative, which should enable timely maintenance, reduce costs, and improve network efficiency, builds on Publiacqua’s previous investments in Xylem solutions for water treatment and wastewater transport.
