Good news for the electric vehicle charging industry in the US, the Biden-Harris Administration has allocated $623 million in grants to expand the country’s electric vehicle charging network, thus smoothing the way to achieving the goal of having 500,000 public chargers by 2030. The funding should help increase EV charger accessibility. The initiative, set to reduce emissions and boost clean transportation, will see funds go towards 47 projects in 22 states and Puerto Rico, adding about 7,500 charging ports.
