ST Engineering announced that its Urban Solutions business will deploy a smart water platform for Aegea, one of Brazil’s largest private sanitation companies, serving over 500 municipalities. Set to be operational by the end of 2024, the platform will digitally integrate Aegea’s water meter infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency, enabling data-driven water optimization, and reducing non-revenue water.
The platform, built on a secure, cloud-based meter data management system, should support automated monitoring and control across Aegea’s metering infrastructure. It should provide real-time alerts, water consumption analysis, and optimization insights, driving new efficiencies in water management.
