Energy efficiency solutions provider Ameresco has partnered with the city of New Orleans to launch a pilot project upgrading streetlights with advanced LED technology. The initiative will install 56 smart LED streetlights near the Superdome, integrating Ubicquia’s lighting management system and TerraGo’s Smart City operations software. The project aims to enhance energy efficiency, public safety, and traffic monitoring through real-time analytics.
The collaboration includes Legacy Professional Services and AllStar Electric, focusing on deploying intelligent streetlight platforms designed for easy installation and instant analytics.
