I-am, an Italian company specializing in Infrastructure Asset Management and part of the Altea Federation Group, has acquired Agisco, a firm known for its expertise in structural monitoring and IoT solutions. This acquisition should strengthens I-am’s end-to-end value proposition, positioning it as a hub for technological innovation in predictive infrastructure management.

The integration of Agisco’s advanced capabilities, including structural monitoring, sensor technology, and IoT,  aims to complement I-am’s existing expertise in artificial intelligence, digital twin, data governance, and data storage. The move should improve the safety and maintenance of critical infrastructure through predictive risk analysis and asset lifecycle management.

By leveraging technologies such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), IoT, and AI, I-am seeks to offer best-in-class solutions for detecting and analyzing structural degradation, ensuring business continuity and enhanced safety for strategic infrastructure projects.
