Hayden AI Secures $90 Million to Enhance Urban Mobility

Kurrant News Desk · ·1 min read

Hayden AI has closed a $90 million growth equity financing round to expand its vision AI platform in major US cities. Led by TPG’s The Rise Fund, with support from Drawdown Fund and Autotech Ventures, this funding aims to enhance urban mobility through AI-powered mobile perception technology.

Hayden AI’s platform uses sensors and cameras to collect geospatial data, aiding city planners in managing public transportation and enforcing traffic laws. The technology has improved bus speeds and reduced collisions in cities like New York and Los Angeles.

CEO Chris Carson stated that the funds will further their goal of becoming an “urban operating system,” enhancing city livability and sustainability. The company also plans to explore new applications and partnerships, including a collaboration with Verra Mobility Corp. to improve transit safety and reliability.
