ZeroEyes, the developer of an AI-powered gun detection platform, has been awarded a $2 million grant by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. The funding will support the expansion of the company’s technology, which uses computer vision to identify firearms in real-time, into 15 additional school districts across the state.
The grant will also be used to enhance the platform’s AI algorithms for faster detection, extend its deployment to more schools, and provide training programs in collaboration with local law enforcement and school security teams. The initiative aims to improve safety for students, teachers, and staff by addressing potential threats proactively.
The AI-driven platform is currently being implemented at Susquenita School District and is designed to help create safer learning environments. The funding reflects broader efforts to leverage technology for school safety in Pennsylvania.
