Safety21, an Italian software provider specializing in Smart Road and Smart City solutions, has completed the full acquisition of Cross Control, an Italian company focused on image detection, traffic violation validation, and enforcement services since 2008. Majority-owned by German private equity firm Bregal Unternehmerkapital, Safety21 aims to strengthen its domestic market presence with this deal.

The acquisition aligns with Safety21’s buy-and-integrate strategy, incorporating Cross Control’s expertise and regional operations into its portfolio. The group’s proprietary Titan software platform supports public administrations in digitizing violation enforcement and improving citizen services. This marks Safety21’s tenth acquisition, following recent partnerships in the Iberian market.
