SUEZ has launched a Smart Operations Centre (SOC) in Maidenhead, UK, to enhance smart water metering and network management. The facility will monitor and analyse real-time data from millions of smart meters, helping water utilities detect leaks, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance.
Operated by SUEZ’s Digital Solutions division, the centre will oversee transmitters, receivers, and telecom systems while enabling remote maintenance. It will also support ON’connect™, SUEZ’s smart metering product line designed to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
The Maidenhead SOC follows the development of similar centres, including one in Paris that monitors over 3 million meters.
