UK-based Calisen Group has entered the German market through a EUR 100 million smart metering partnership with Energy Metering Germany (EMG), a company within Octopus Group. The agreement covers the financing and installation of smart metering assets across Germany, while EMG will oversee operations and asset management.
The move follows a pilot phase launched in February 2025, during which approximately 10,000 smart meters were installed.
