FIDO AI Secures Series B Funding to Expand Water Management Tech

Kurrant News Desk · ·1 min read

FIDO AI has raised an undisclosed amount in Series B funding, led by CRH Ventures, to fuel the expansion of its cutting-edge water management technology. This investment will enable FIDO to expand its reach in the global water management sector and strategically enter the smart infrastructure market. FIDO’s AI technology specializes in detecting hidden water leaks using acoustic analysis, ranking them by size and urgency to help utilities prioritize repairs efficiently.

The company’s volumetric AI goes beyond leak detection, supporting proactive infrastructure maintenance and broader watershed management. Through the FIDO Plus platform, corporations can incorporate water stewardship into their sustainability efforts by monitoring and validating water savings in real time. The savings are quantified using Volumetric Water Benefit (VWB) accounting, a methodology recognized by the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS).

Already in use by multinational companies like Microsoft in regions such as London, Mexico, and the Colorado River basin, FIDO’s AI technology contributes to corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals by improving water resilience and supporting sustainability efforts globally. With this new investment, FIDO aims to scale its impact across more markets and industries, addressing critical water challenges and advancing smart infrastructure solutions.
