Cairns Boosts Smart Water Initiative with $1.5 Million Investment

Over the next year, Cairns, Australia will install $1.5 million worth of new water meters due to population growth. These 750 meters will support the of Council’s Smart Water Meter (SWM) project’s Phase 2 rollout. Various meter sizes will be compatible with SWM, and local suppliers will provide materials. This aligns with the upcoming deployment of 5,000 smart water meters.
