In Australia, the Water Corporation is set to launch a pilot project in Perth, installing over 16,000 digital AMI water meters. The initiative aims to assess the advantages of smart meters to shape future installations. With already around 40,000 smart meters in areas like Kalgoorlie-Boulder, the company’s new pilot will commence next month and conclude by mid-2025.
