WellStat, a U.S.-based specialist in energy management and air quality solutions, has acquired UK-based Iknaia Limited, including its Airscan product line. The move aims to strengthen WellStat’s global presence and enhance its portfolio with advanced indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring and energy management solutions.
The acquisition integrates Iknaia’s expertise in air quality monitoring with WellStat’s capabilities in energy optimization and intelligent building management. Customers of both companies will benefit from access to real-time air quality monitoring and energy efficiency tools, aimed at reducing emissions, lowering costs, and improving environmental health.
Together, the combined entities now claim to manage over 450 million square feet of property across more than 1,250 built environments. The partnership should enable WellStat and Iknaia to address growing global demand for sustainable building solutions, targeting industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government sectors. The companies also plan to expand into key markets in Asia, Europe, and beyond.
