Siemens Smart Infrastructure has secured a five-year contract with Aral Pulse to implement its Electrification X platform, part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, for Aral’s e-mobility charging infrastructure. The partnership aims to enhance the operation, optimization, and security of Aral’s ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across Germany.

Over the past four years, Siemens has delivered and commissioned 300 intelligent substations, connected to Electrification X, capable of delivering up to 400 kW of power. These substations enable EVs to charge up to 300 kilometers in just 10 minutes. An additional 350 digital substations are currently being installed at Aral service stations.

Electrification X offers real-time monitoring, dynamic load management, and remote control of charging stations to ensure efficient energy distribution and compliance with cybersecurity standards. The platform also provides transparency into network status and utilization, helping to avoid grid capacity limitations. Electrification X, built on cloud services, is designed to manage and optimize electrification systems for commercial, industrial, and utility customers, aligning with Siemens Xcelerator’s principles of interoperability, flexibility, and cybersecurity.
