Synapsia, an Italian company specializing in AI-driven solutions, has signed a $2.5 billion agreement with UAE-based Bold Technologies to develop an advanced urban management platform for Abu Dhabi. The deal, finalized on March 3, focuses on optimizing traffic, parking, and emergency response systems through AI technology.

The project, described as a “cognitive city,” aims to transform traditional urban data silos into an autonomous, self-learning network capable of real-time infrastructure, transportation, and energy optimization. The payment will be disbursed in five installments over 18 months, contingent on achieving specific milestones.

Additionally, the two companies plan to establish a new entity, My Aion Inc., which is expected to go public on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange between 2027 and 2029. This partnership aligns with Italy’s broader strategy to strengthen economic ties with Gulf nations.
