Kurrant News Desk · ·1 min read

The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans is set to install 140,000 smart water meters, replacing outdated analogue ones, to improve billing accuracy and aid leak detection for both residential and business customers. Utilizing Sensus’s FlexNet technology, the initiative aims to modernize the city’s water infrastructure and is expected to be completed by 2026.
