Molise Launches LoRaWAN network for Smart Water Initiative

Kurrant News Desk · ·1 min read

Gestione Risorse Idriche Molisane, or GRIM, the public water authority of the Italian Molise region, has formed a consortium which includes Unidata, an Italian telecommunications company that has been entrusted with designing and deploying a LoRaWAN IoT network across all Molise municipalities to connect smart water meters. The water utility is hoping to enhance sustainable water resource management and minimize losses in its distribution networks with the 3-million-euro connectivity project.
