Kamstrup has agreed to acquire Danish company BD Smart Forsyning from Brødrene Dahl, aiming to accelerate digital solutions for the utilities sector. The deal should enhance Kamstrup’s software capabilities, particularly in communication and software development, to improve water supply efficiency.
BD Smart Forsyning’s expertise in agile and user-friendly software will complement Kamstrup’s existing innovation team. The acquisition will integrate strengths from both companies into a unified digital solution, though current customer agreements with BD Smart Forsyning will remain unchanged.
As part of the transition, Kamstrup will establish a new office in Copenhagen to accommodate incoming employees.
