With the Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza, with international funds, we bought 500 new buses, electric buses to contribute to reduce traffic pollution and also to reduce the production CO2.
We are one of the nine cities in Italy, and one of the 100 cities in Europe that have to gain climate neutrality by 2030, 20 years ahead of the goal of the European Commission.
We are using technologies, for example, for safety and security on cameras with also some other IoT solutions.
So we use smart technology on our traffic lights, for example, we use technology also for the mobility as a service where we will create a unique platform that the citizen decide to start its journey from point A to point B, and you will not have to start and skip from one app to another app.

We already use AI on traffic lights, on cameras, on our public transport and to study the the trees, the density of the trees and in other topics maybe we use IoT to improve the efficiency of our municipality buildings.
In this moment we have established an AI ethical committee, where civil society, stakeholders and experts on the privacy and advocacy will respond to some topics about the use, ethical use of AI in our emerging technology.
