And just Like that, another edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress here in Barcelona, comes to an end. It's been an intense three days of networking and exploring, and from what we've seen and what we've heard, it seems like this edition had a lot more footfall, with booths filled with people curious to see what solutions they were offering. And when it comes to trends in tech, vision AI is king again. Vision AI was everywhere, with the key use case being traffic optimization. The star topics of the event were traffic monitoring, vision AI for identifying city issues, outdoor lighting and satellite data analysis for wildfire detection and flooding. What we've seen lose strength are IoT basic sensors like parking sensors and air quality sensors, which can be replaced with vision AI and satellite. In other words, the use cases are more important than the tech. We didn't see a lot of waste or water despite these topics still being a key challenge for cities. One of the issues raised was the challenge of too much data and needing a way for the data to speak. On the Kurrant side, we held The Smart Deal investment event, in which six startups pitched their solutions, and spoiler alert, three of them got a grand prize. We also hosted many interviews in our studio. The expo is over, but the content will continue to come to your screens, so keep an eye on Kurrant. See you next time.
